The P110 is a sound generator module designed for use in many types of R/C models.
The system can produce 1 or 2 proportional engine sounds & up to 16 individual sounds in total:
For each proportional engine sound it can give:
The engine running sound is modulated by the throttle control i.e. It increases the ‘RPM’ as the throttle is advanced.
This works in both forward and reverse. The unit will work straight from the box, however you can also set minimum & maximum rev positions for the throttle stick.
The sound files are stored on a standard SD memory card, one is supplied with the unit with your choice of engine sound, you can also purchase our full library of sounds on CD.
The sounds are saved in the industry standard .wav format so anyone with basic computer knowledge can put their own files onto a memory card which the unit will then play.
The P110 contains an integral 20W class D amplifier, so it will drive a speaker of between 4 Ohms & 16 Ohms directly, no further components are required.
Although the P110 is a very sophisticated unit, which utilises a very powerful 32 bit microcontroller, it has been designed to be as simple as possible to operate, needing no more than a power source, speaker & connection to a receiver in order to operate.
Technical Specification:
*Please see our voltage boosters for modules which will allow the P110 to operate from lower voltages - Operation from as low as 3.5V i.e. a single cell lipo is possible with one of our voltage boosters.
