We are a family run business, based in North Wales right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. From our warehouse we have hundreds of different batteries available from stock for next day delivery & can custom build others to order within a day or two. We also stock a very wide range of chargers, cables, connectors etc & can also supply custom cable assemblies to order. On top of this we have a range of some 150+ different LEDs as well as servos, motors, testers & more, all available for same-day despatch.

We take great pride in what we do & to ensure that all our products are the best, we have stringent quality control measures in place, including visiting the manufacturers, that way you can be sure that whatever you buy, it is of the highest quality.

The majority of our products are imported directly from the manufacturers by ourselves, this way there are no middle men and an absolute minimum amount of overheads, this means that we can bring you exceptionally high quality products at very low prices. For instance, exactly the same AA batteries that we sell for £6.25 for a pack of 4 can be found in High St shops, (with a different wrapper) in the region of £12.99 a pack!

The Beginning

Component-Shop was started way back in early 2005 by Iain Lewis as a part time hobby, at the time he was employed full time as a New Product Development Engineer for a Telecomms Hardware Manufacturer. With high quality products, competitively priced, the business quickly grew & so Iain's wife Natasha joined in. In 2006 redundancy came along as manufacturing moved over to the Far East, but by that stage the business had grown to the point that it became the full time occupation of both Iain & Natasha. Before long, as the business continued to grow, staff were hired, to the point that today there are 5 full-time & 1 part-time employees.
